The latest PaxLift has arrived at its new destination – Düsseldorf, Germany. The truck will go straight into service with Klüh Multiservices.
PaxLift MD, Klaus Pirpamer, was on hand to see the truck’s arrival and said the delivery shows the level of confidence the Düsseldorf team had in the PaxLift concept. Said Klaus: “We are delighted to see the new truck going into service. DUS have been very early adopters of PaxLift, with the most working hours and shown great faith in us from the first concept to this latest iteration.”
DUS is one of the busiest airports in Germany and has continued to invest in development during the difficult Covid period for the air travel industry. Emirates recently announced the return of long-haul flights from DUS with Boeing 777-300ER jets.
In addition to Emirates, Eurowings, the largest airline at the airport, will have new destinations in its portfolio with Beirut and Erbil in Iraq from January 5, 2021. British Airways has been connecting London Heathrow with the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia again since October.
“There are positive signs of recovery and we are confident this latest PaxLift will bring comfort and efficiency to the operation,” concluded Klaus.
